COHR 307 – Introduction to Organizational Consulting
Frameworks from the social sciences useful for understanding organizational processes and how to apply these frameworks to particular organizational consulting challenges.
COMM 486R – Leadership and General Management
Integration and application of business knowledge to make business decisions across disciplines; development of personal leadership ability and style. Case-based with guest speakers.
- Course Objectives:
- To integrate and apply knowledge gained from previous business courses to business cases
- To learn how to quickly absorb and analyze information to make business decisions
- To improve verbal communication and presentation ability
- To become self-aware of and develop one’s leadership ability and style
- To improve one’s ability to work with, motivate and lead people
- To actively learn from the experience of other classmates and community leaders
COMM 491 – Strategic Management
Concepts and processes for the strategic management of private sector, single and multi-business unit enterprises are analysed using the case method. Methodologies which draw on economic and organizational theory are integrated to form the foundations for strategic analyses.
