Workshop Series Part 1: Consulting 101 – September 27th 2011
- A dinner included icebreaker and informational session event, where students can further familiarize themselves with the club and learn what consulting really is. An industry professional will also be invited to the event to give a small workshop on consulting. This will provide an opportunity for a professional from your company to come and establish themselves within the minds of interested prospective consultants.
Workshop Series Part 2: How to Crack a Case – November 2011
- A joint workshop event with the UBC Case Competition Club, where experienced senior students and/or an industry professional will be teaching students the process and necessary frameworks of how to solve a consulting case.
Workshop Series Part 3: Behavioral Interview & Resume Shred – January 2012
- An informative workshop that will be led by an industry delegate to help students understand and learn about behavioral interviews. Students will also have the chance to participate in a question and answer period afterwards.
Workshop Series Part 4: Wine & Cheese Networking Gala – March 2012
- This year-end event will be a wrap-up to the year’s activities. It will include a speech by a keynote speaker, President’s speech, and networking session for our members and sponsors.
