Imagine Day: The year began with this exciting first day of school, which showcased the many clubs across UBC. This day began the excitement for the re-launch of the UBC Consulting Club.
Consulting 101: Our kickoff event began with an icebreaker for members to meet each other, an introduction to our Executive Team, and an interactive workshop on the basics of Consulting, including guest speakers Howe Gu, Jenny Hu, and a presentation by UBCCC President Peter Yang.
Junior Partner Hiring: This hiring process brought forward many extremely enthusiastic and qualified candidates applying for the position of Junior Partner.
Anatomy of a Case: This workshop offered by the UBC Case Competition Club, gave complimentary access to UBCCC members, and gave attendees a breakdown of a typical case competition and how to approach it in a competition. UBCCC President Peter Yang also gave a presentation during this series.
Tri-Mentorship Program Kickoff: We were extremely excited to launch this invaluable program and introduce its benefits to our members. This program offers students an opportunity to work in a trio comprised of a junior member, senior member, and industry professional. Congratulations to all members who were selected as candidates for this program!
Strategy Consulting Initiative (SCI): This newly designed program was introduced to potential applicants in December, and gives members an opportunity to experience a consulting job in a legitimate company. Congratulations to all those selected to participate in this prestigious program!
